Job Description: The Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) is responsible for developing and implementing the core strategies and tactics to drive Acute Care and Alternate Care sales performance within their assigned territory while working alongside the Strategic Account Manager (SAM). The ISAM will be responsible for retaining the current Metrex business while expanding the footprint within the mutually agreed upon accounts. Additionally, the ISAM will take share in targeted accounts and IDNs where there is currently no existing business. Uncovering new business and developing strong leads for the outside sales team is a key responsability for the ISAM. This would include, cold calling, account research prior to contacting, strong product knowledge, and understanding the entire Acute Care and Alternate Care market landscape.
