Surgical IOL Manager - Surgical Field Sales - Scotland & North England

As an IOL Manager – Surgical Sales you will be supporting hospitals and you will be trusted to oversee the overall IOL portfolio, showcasing expertise in our products’ benefits and differentiating vs. competitive products by providing high technical consultancy in assigned accounts. You will work with Account Managers, Tender and Pricing teams to provide the right customer solutions/bundles/EFAs. You will work with Customer Operations on consignment and leverage MyAlcon360, where available. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would describe themselves as a hungry salesperson, who enjoys the challenge, is hugely results driven as well as highly resilient with the confidence to build relationships from scratch.
In this role, a typical day can include:
Private (if relevant):
PC-IOL revenue
PCIOL penetration rates
Mono/Toric IOLs
Running the Accelerator program in selected accounts
Public (if relevant):
Monofocal IOLs
Toric IOLs
PCIOLS in selected accounts
Managing tender requirements working with internal teams
Developing new business with customers to achieve sales targets.
Maintaining and optimizing existing relationships and managing business with existing keys customers.
Providing feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management.
Maintaining and upholding an excellent company image.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Deep knowledge of all IOLs. Ability to detail the full portfolio of IOL products. Ability to competitively position Clareon vs. modified/advanced monofocals.
