Specialist SAP Architect, Order to Cash

ABOUT THE ROLE  

Role Description:  

In this vital role, you will be responsible for leading, architecting, designing, and implementing SAP S4 Order to Cash solutions with a focus on Order Management, Billing and Pricing processes and capabilities. As a Specialist SAP Architect within our global Digital, Technology, and Innovation (DTI) team, this role will help guide the transition from our worldwide ERP S4 instance on  Platform OTC ( Order to cash), along with the successful migration of the S4 feeder systems. This position requires deep expertise in SAP S4 OTC module with a good understanding of cross functional integration with SAP GTS ( Global trade Services) other modules. Are you a key SAP analyst with deep technical experience in Compliance and Customs processes? Come join a team that is passionate about innovation and making life better with technology!  

Roles & Responsibilities:   

• Design and configure the SAP S4 OTC module to meet business requirements and implement processes around Billing and Pricing data determination in Invoices.  

• Ensures solutions developed are aligned to enterprise architecture standards, guidelines and principles by leverage common technology platforms and services.  

• Ensures seamless integration between S4  and connected with SAP modules (GTS, FI, MM, OTC, TM, ATTP, and EWM) as well as third-party systems.  

• Participate in OTC and GTS implementation projects as part of the GTO product team, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support. Provide mentoring to team members.  

• Creation and maintenance of critical documentation such as technical assessments, configuration specs, functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensures compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.  

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen's SAP OTC module integrated with SAP GTS ecosystem utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).  

• Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading practices.  

• Ability to translate business requirements into design options that are cost effective, efficient, re-usable that align with defined architectural principles and standards.  

Basic Qualifications and Experience:  

• Master’s degree in computer science or Legal majors and 4 to 6 years of SAP implementation experience in specific to SAP S4 OTC module. 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Legal majors and 6 to 8 years of SAP implementation experience specifically in SAP S4 ITC Module 

• Diploma in computer science or Legal majors and 10 to 12 years of IT or years of SAP implementation experience specific to SAP S4 Module   

Functional Skills:  

Must-Have Skills:  

• Strong hands-on experience in configuring and integrating all aspects of SAP S4 OTC solutions for global deployments; focus on Billing and Output forms as Invoices, Pricing determination and mapping to Invoice data, Integration of Proforma Invoices to GTS Custom declarations. Outbound deliveries and Copy control to Proforma creation and custom data fields mapping and Intrastat Reporting. 

• Understand OTC processes with Invoices customizations. Experience with S/4HANA Billing types and Invoice outputs formats and global template designs and Foreign trade process in S4 to be integrated with GTS.  

• Demonstrated understanding of Export control process and  Legal Regulations as applicable in both S4 and in GTS modules. Background to include experience in SAP best practices for OTC processes on Order management, Shipping, Pricing and billing types.  

• Collaborate with integrated agile product teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP S4 OTC and other SAP S4 modules (e.g. OTC, TM, FI and Tax) and external systems. Perform mentoring to team members.  

• Ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements, including debugging and root cause analysis.  

Good-to-Have Skills:  

• Proficiency in S/4 OTC and pricing and billing processes integration with GTS Customs management  

• Good understanding of Cross functional interdependencies, S/4 Physical & Financial flow and S/4 Advance Intercompany and changes impact on OTC module 

• Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).  

• Knowledge in Master Data Governance tool (MDG).  

Professional Certifications:  

• SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP OTC ( Order to Cash)  Preferred GTS  and Compliance experience.   

• Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)
