Key Account Manager

Job Description

Allergan Aesthetics is seeking a highly capable Senior Key Account Manager to play a pivotal role in accelerating the performance of the Key Account channel in the Netherlands. This is a high-visibility position with direct exposure to senior leadership and meaningful influence on commercial strategy, customer partnerships, and long-term channel development.

The role combines strategic thinking, commercial leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainable growth, strengthen partnerships with major clinic chains, and enhance overall channel effectiveness.

Key Objectives

  • Drive measurable sales growth and profitability across assigned strategic accounts.
  • Ensure a consistent, senior-level commercial interface with clinic chain leadership.
  • Shape and execute multi-year account strategies that strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Translate market and channel insights into actionable strategies that improve performance and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the medium and long-term evolution of the Key Account channel in the Netherlands and Benelux cluster.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Manage strategic clinic chain accounts, lead negotiations, and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute multi-year account plans.

Sales Performance & Growth

  • Monitor sales, profitability, and execution for assigned accounts.
  • Set targets and track performance.
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement action plans.
  • Advise on pricing, portfolio strategy, and commercial models.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting.

Commercial Excellence

  • Collaborate with regional teams on standardizing account management.
  • Optimize tools, processes, and pricing/contract execution.

Channel & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze customer, competitor, and market dynamics.
  • Anticipate clinic network changes and advise leadership with insights.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in key account management, commercial strategy, or sales leadership within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or complex B2B environments.
  • Proven track record managing large or strategic accounts and delivering sustained growth.
  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
    Excellent analytical skills combined with sound commercial judgment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
    Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in Dutch.
