Senior Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering novel therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), a serious liver disease that can progress to cirrhosis, liver failure, need for liver transplantation and premature mortality. Every member of our Madrigal team is connected by our shared purpose: leading the fight against MASH.

Madrigal’s medication, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is a once-daily, oral, liver-directed THR-β agonist designed to target key underlying causes of MASH. Rezdiffra is the first and only medication approved by both the FDA and European Commission for the treatment of MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis (F2 to F3). An ongoing Phase 3 outcomes trial is evaluating Rezdiffra for the treatment of compensated MASH cirrhosis (F4c).

To support our continued growth, we are strengthening our workforce strategy to ensure we have the right talent, at the right time, in the right way.

  • Assist in coordinating and planning cross functional team meetings, workshops, and events—including offsite logistics, venue selection, agendas, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain department files, records, and shared resources with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and reinforce adherence to internal processes, policies, and key deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure continuity, support cross-functional efforts, and drive cohesion across departments.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute presentations, spreadsheets, memos, and meeting notes as needed.
  • Provide support for small-scale projects as assigned, including status tracking and stakeholder coordination.

  • Demonstrated experience managing executive calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Concur strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Continuous learning mindset
  • Discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented with a proactive, adaptive and solutions oriented approach.
