DESCRIPTION:

The Regional Sales Director, Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM)/Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS), is responsible for the Regional strategic direction of the Specialty Therapy products inclusive of Micra, EVICD, Linq and future product innovations. The Therapy Business Director is also responsible for the management of all planning and business results and will be measured for by Revenue, SGM and Expense targets among other KPI's. The leader will be responsible for creating and overseeing the execution of the business plan, and managing overall Specialty Therapy performance, including budget planning, forecasting and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process in alignment with the Regional Vice Presidents and Business Unit Leaders. The position will be responsible for leading, engagement and development of all Specialty Therapies resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the Specialty Therapies regional business planning and execution, including key product launches, sales training, local customer engagement events, congress presence and promotional activities

  • Work closely with RVP, US Business leaders, Sales operations, CRM DM’s, STM to develop, implement and execute regional/local business plans

  • Deploy market development and marketing plans aimed at generating short and long-term growth. Closely manage account selection and prioritization of target for new therapy penetration to maximize revenue and procedural success

  • Collaborates with CRM DM in executing customer engagement and sales activities to physician/account customers

  • Consistently and effectively communicates appropriate product, market, clinical, competitive information to sales organization to maximize sales results

  • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

  • Conducts market assessment to identify customer insights, market trends, barriers, and opportunities for growth in specialty portfolio

  • Utilizes 3rd party data and sales analytics on market size, opportunity, and penetration level

  • Provide input to US Business Leaders for the Strategic Planning process including annual updates to market models and segmentation exercises

People Management

  • Manages the motivation, performance, and development of the Specialty Therapies team

  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization and that emphasizes the identified mission, guiding principles, and quality of the organization

  • Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning

  • Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and regular interpersonal communication

  • Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire and retain talent that meets and exceeds performance needs

  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities

  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among team members that allows exchanging ideas, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working effectively together 

  • Perform additional duties in line with company business requirements

  • Travel requirements: 75%

MUST HAVE: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7+ years proven successful sales leadership experience

  • 10+ years prior experience in the healthcare industry, in a Technical/Sales Marketing role

NICE TO HAVE:  DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preference given to candidates with Cardiac Rhythm Management or Cardiac Ablation Solutions Sales and Leadership experience

  • Master’s in business administration

  • Experience managing sales teams, product portfolios, launching new therapies and developing new markets

  • Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales management, customers and across regional and organizational boundaries

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels in an organization and with diverse groups

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently

  • Prior experience in fast-paced office with multiple priorities

  • Must be customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent presentations skills

  • Responsive, action-oriented, and innovative problem solver

  • Great attention to detail

  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change

  • Achievement-oriented and demonstrated ability to self-start projects and/or tasks

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
