We have six manufacturing facilities located in Clonmel, Cootehill, Donegal, Longford and Sligo and a third-party manufacturing management operation in Sligo.

Role Summary

Fully field‑based role responsible for driving commercial growth and clinical engagement with Community and Paediatric Dietitians. The successful candidate must be a Registered Dietitian to deliver high‑quality nutritional education, support clinical decision‑making, and influence key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with community and paediatric dietetic networks.

  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with commercial priorities.

  • Deliver clinical education, product training, and nutritional updates.

  • Achieve sales targets through effective territory and promotional activity.

  • Provide market, competitor, and customer insights to the Commercial Lead.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, and Supply Chain on campaigns and sampling.

  • Use digital tools (webinars, e‑detail, virtual engagement) to support HCP education.

  • Represent Abbott at conferences, forums, and professional events.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (CORU‑registered or equivalent) – Essential

  • Experience in account management, sales, or clinical liaison (healthcare, nutrition, or pharma).

  • Strong knowledge of community and paediatric nutrition.

  • Proven ability to engage and influence HCPs.

  • Strong planning, reporting, and stakeholder‑management skills.
