Overview:
The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) will work in conjunction with the Territory Managers (TM), Customer Care and Inside Sales teams to meet the commercial and clinical needs in their State for the purpose of commencing patients on the Omnipod Insulin Management system, increasing referrals and sustaining patients on product
Responsibilities:
• Promotes the benefits of insulin pump therapy and sells the Omnipod Insulin Management System to providers and patients in group and/or individual sessions or as a continuing education offering increasing Omnipod adoption in accounts. Partner with accounts to ensure Omnipod is offered as a 1st choice alternative to MDI
• Work with TMs to achieve/exceed NCS Targets for the Territory/State
• Manages patient training with clinics and is able to conduct patient training based on business needs of territory and timeliness of training
• Working with the TMs to implement Sales & Marketing plans at a Territory/State level
• Works in conjunction with Sales, Customer Care and Inside sales to achieve sales goals
• Ability to explain the patient pathway on how to access Omnipod through private and subscription pathways
• Assists with events such as pump clinics, pump support groups, info sessions, in-the office educational events, patient info nights, vendor days, etc
• Support target accounts, new and existing accounts and diabetes marketplace partnerships
• Builds loyalty & trust by delivering meaningful clinical education and value-based discussions
• Records calls in Salesforce
• Assists with providing regular product demos to patients in person and virtually
•Facilitates product training/certification for new and existing Endocrinologists, Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Certified Pod Trainers (CPT) as required
• Provides field feedback/intel to TM and State Sales Lead on field-based training of customers and HCPs
• Ability to perform administrative duties
• Manages boot stock ordering and event planning with Marketing
• Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
• Current professional credentials and/or certifications are mandatory: i.e. Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) or Registered Nurse (RN), or Science specialties
• Prior industry/commercial experience strongly preferred. (Minimum of 2 years of experience)
• Professional and polished presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal communications, both oral and written
• Ability to work Independently, needs minimal direction; extremely flexible and with good business acumen
• Credibility and contacts within the diabetes community
• Proficiency with computers
Other requirements :
• Valid driver’s license required
• This position requires business travel by car or air throughout Queensland
• Must reside within Brisbane region
• Overnight travel will be required. (2 – 5 Days per month)
