This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly.
The Manager, Ocular Health Pharma Account Management (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating sales activities and promotions with key pharmacy customers. You will lead sales efforts in both Ethical and Over-the-Counter channels, drive growth in Contact Lens Care, and manage sales forecasts by analyzing account activities.
In this role, a typical day will include:
• Achieve sales targets for specific accounts
• Establish and implement a sales/business plan for a designated client base or specific sales program to support the patient journey and position Alcon and its brands properly
• Drive sales, promotion, and development in designated accounts to achieve commercial goals
• Develop a customer-specific strategy and dedicated Key Account Management (KAM) action plans for assigned accounts
• Establish and grow long-term relationships with key customers, expanding relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs and objectives
• Prepare and negotiate contracts
• Guide initiatives aimed at targeting specific accounts
• Analyze market situations and conduct competitive intelligence activities on key accounts and key competitors
• Contribute to the mapping of stakeholders, including segmentation and profiling, and provide accurate and timely data for the Alcon Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Independently organize customer events and other programs in line with agreed business tactical plans
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Sales experience from key account management in the optical industry or similar would be preferred. FMCG industry considered as well.
- Experience in selling premium original products where quality is emphasized.
- Positive attitude, business and team spirit, open-minded, motivated to learn new things.
- English at a communicative level is an advantage but not a necessity.
- Region South Bohemia, Ideally Tabor, Ceske Budejovice, Benešov, Havličkuv Brod, Pelhřimov
