About the Role 

The GSK US Respiratory & Anti-Infectives Sales Professional is responsible for engaging physicians and allied health professionals across independent practices, physician groups, and hospital systems to drive appropriate prescribing of GSK products. This includes influencing prescribing decisions versus competitive therapies for relevant disease states through compliant, face-to-face interactions, in alignment with approved product indications and prescribing information. 


You will lead and develop a district sales team to drive business performance and create meaningful patient impact. You will set clear goals, coach team members, and work closely with regional colleagues and cross-functional partners. We value leaders who are results-focused, curious, and caring. Key Responsibilities

  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing district sales team to meet business objectives.
  • Create and execute the district business plan that aligns to regional and national priorities.
  • Monitor team performance and deliver clear, regular feedback and development plans.
  • Recruit and onboard sales representatives to ensure optimal customer coverage.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support customer engagement, training, and events.
  • Manage district budgets and resources to drive efficient, measurable results.



Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare management experience, for example in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device settings.
  • Proven experience leading sales teams, including hiring and performance management.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the district, including overnight travel as needed.
  • Experience developing and executing district or territory business plans to achieve sales targets


Preferred Qualification

  • 2+ years of district manager or equivalent field leadership experience in pharma, biotech, or medical device.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coach and develop others.
  • Experience leading teams through change and improving team performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to drive decisions.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and partnering across functions.
  • Advanced degree such as MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification.
  • Proven track record of developing talent and promoting from within.


Work Model
This role is hybrid. You will spend time in the field with your team and customers, and in the office for planning and collaboration. Travel within the district is required.
